Meet Our Team

Stacey Atwell-Keister has taught music in private, parochial, and public schools for nearly 20 years. She has sung professionally as a chorister and soloist in New York City and Pittsburgh, and studied with the brilliant choral artists James Jordan, Janet Galvan, Harold Rosenbaum, and Lawrence Doebler. Ms. A-K is a fierce advocate of choral music as a means of empowerment, spiritual discovery, and enlightenment, and is a founding member of the Oregon Small Schools Task Force, dedicated to improving music education for small and rural schools in Oregon. She recently published a choral method book entitled “Teaching Harmony To Beginning Singers” and is a co-author of a chapter in the book “Music Education In Rural America: Volume II.” Ms. A-K graduated from Ithaca College with degrees in Music Education and Voice Performance, and lives in rural Oregon with her children, pets, garden, and puzzle collection
