VISION
Umpqua Youth Chorale will perform classical choral repertoire from Renaissance to the present in languages from around the globe using cultural ambassadors to achieve authentic and respectful performance standards.
PURPOSE
Umpqua Youth Chorale seeks to fill the gap that exists in music education for youth in southwestern Oregon by providing high-quality music education and performance opportunities to local talented youth supported by a diverse coalition of community members.
STRUCTURE
Umpqua Youth Chorale consists of a training choir for ages five to eleven; a high-level youth choir for ages twelve and up; and a competitive, touring youth choir for ages fifteen to twenty-five.
